Outremont remained a rather agricultural town during a certain time. The arrival of the Clerks of St.Viateur has changed all that. They decide to separate small peaces of lands in order to make profit out of their vast new bought grounds. The young religious community was invited to teach in Montreal couples years ago by Mgr. Bourget. They saw coming the expansion of Montreal to”suburbs”. They had the presentiment that the adjacent grounds near their new heart quarter would interest soon people of the overcrowd city. 213 Pictures of Outremont, Montréal.
