Cinemas Cineplex Forum

fact_histo

Better known as the Montreal Forum, this building have not a great architectural interest. His interest is more historical.

Former home of the Canadiens Hockey Club from 1922 to 1996, the Forum was expanded twice. Although busy during the hockey season, the Montreal Forum could also host shows and other events.

Early 90s, facing the pressure to raise more revenue caused by high wages, the decision was took to build a new amphitheater.

Today the building is recycled in a cinema and shopping mall.
