The Plaza

Informations and facts

The Plaza passes almost unnoticed behind the Plaza St-Hubert roof. Plaza Theatre is among the rare places open after all these years with the same name. The Plaza was inaugurated February 17, 1922, its interior was the work of Emmanuel Briffa. In the 70s, the theater was split into two spaces, the lower part of the balcony was converted into a pharmacy, leaving only the upper for cinema. Plaza originally had 980 seats.
