The Pointe-à-Callière Museum dedicated to archaeology and history of Montreal. His basement is occupied by its impressive permanent exhibition where you can see the foundations of old buildings that occupied the site trough out centuries. The underground rooms pass under the Royal Place and connect this building to that of former Customs.
The architecture of this museum is a very modern reminder of the old Customs (second one) building which use to stand there hundreds years ago.
The top floor is occupied by the restaurant l’Arrivage offering a incredible view over Montreal Old Port.
