This historic house once owned by George Fendall was almost get demolished around 2002. It was neglected for many years by the goverment after the departure of the last Fendall. The condition of the house was so poor that experts' reports to justifyied its possible demolition. Against all expectations, the house was renovated while respecting its historic value.
