This building was covered with brown metal sheets. It has been plagued worst building in Montreal for year 1976. Now the building relive with a new look. Changing exterior of the Institute was a project by architects Lapointe Magne et associés.

About I. T.H.Q

The school was founded in 1968 by an initiative of the Government of Quebec to assist in the creation of a world-class tourism industry in Quebec. It was not until 1976 that the institute moved into its current premises located between the Square Saint-Louis on Saint-Denis Street between Berri Street.

Institute of Tourism offers a variety of training programs, both at university and college level. These programs include a degree in Tourism Management in collaboration with UQAM.
