The Montreal Intercontinental Hotel is integrated into the International trading centre.
Owners of the hotel brand, played a gamble for this construction because, at the time, the district was not like it is today. The idea of international district was not even sketch and the sumptuous place Riopelle was not even an idea. The Hotel was rather facing a Ville Marie expressway not covered in a sector left behind filled with parking lot. One can say that the risk was worthwhile because the hotel is now at the centre of a new sector boost by the expansion of Montreal Convention centre and the design of the Riopelle place.
The Intercontinental has 357 rooms including 23 luxury suites situated on the upper floors. It also offers its customers and delegates 18 conference rooms and three restaurants of high-quality.
The hotel is connected to Montreal's underground via the International trading centre and is located between downtown and the tourist district of Old Montreal.
We have no relation with managers of this hotel thus we can’t answer to questions relative to room reservation of congress planning.
