This team plays in the national line from 1924 to 1938 in the Canadian division. The team won the Stanley Cup twice at the 1925-1926 season and the 1934-1935 season. The Maroons were the great rivals of the Montreal Canadians. They even shared the Montreal Forum for a few seasons.
Team had 6 coaches in its history: Eddie Gerard, Dunc Munro, George Boucher, Sprague Cleghorn, Tommy Gorman and King Clancy
In 1939 the team was officially dissolved due to lack of funds. The difficult years after the great depression had been hard on the team's funding. |
