Au Canada, Price était l'architecte des hôtels-château du Canadien Pacifique. Il en réalisa de nombreux à travers le Canada dont le fameux Château Frontenac à Québec.

Bien qu'ayant réalisé de nombreuses œuvres au Canada, c'est aux États-Unis qu'il fit la plus grande partie de ses réalisations. Il est considéré comme un des grands architectes américains de son époque.
