History and facts about this building

This synagogue was located on Stanley Street between St. Catherine and de Maisonneuve.

Destroyed in 1960, it had been built by spanish and portuguese Jewish communities. It was abandoned in 1922 with the construction of the Shaar Hashomayim Synaguoge.
