Industrials Building of Montreal

The city of Montreal has known an incredible industrial expansion in the early beginning of the twentieth century, leaving many industrial buildings with cubic forms and monumental volumes. Many among us no longer see these buildings that seem to exist since always but it was impossible to make a Web site on Montreal architecture and leave out the historic industrial buildings.

Some where converted into condo as on the edge of the Lachine Canal or reused by high-tech firms in the multimedia district. Discover these giants of our industrial heritage.
