The original avenue Laval was very short and was limited to Lafontaine district, adjacent to the square Saint-Louis. This avenue is characterized by the presence of beautiful Victorian homes. Laval Avenue is named in memory of François de Laval a religious man who dedicated his life to Catholic missions.
