Beaubien Street, Montreal

This Street was named in honor of the Beaubien family, rich landowner in the city of Montreal and Outremont. The family has created many men of influence like Joseph Beaubien mayor of Outremont and Louis Beaubien, MP. Beaubien family binds later with the De Gaspe and Casgrain. The De Gaspe Beaubien family is still very active today in the business world. Beaubien Street runs from East to West, Park Avenue to Highway 25. In Rosemont, is a very colorful street partially renovated in 2006. In the past, the Rue Saint-Dominique was called the Beaubien Street.
