Concordia University Buildings

The Concordia University is the latest to open in the city of Montreal. This english institution is a fusion of the Sir George Williams school (1926) and Loyola College located in the west of the city.

Founded in 1974 Concordia University is growing fast with new pavilions such as the John Molson School of Business and the gradual acquisition of the Gray Sisters nunnery. The university is located in heart of Montréal’s downtown and the STM underline the institution presence by renaming metro station Guy-Concordia. Nearly 30,000 students go there every week.

With a growing campus, Concordia University is considering the creation of “Quartier Concordia” (Concordia district), an urban development that will provide a visual signature for the sector between Maisonneuve and Rene Levesque, between Bishop and Saint-Mathieu. The new urban design will demarcate its area from the rest of Montreal’s downtown.

Concordia campus count more then fifteen building, here is a partial list.
