Of all the districts of Montreal, Little Italy is certainly one of most popular.
Girds between the boulevard St. Lawrence, Saint-Denis street and between Jean-Talon and the Beaubien Montreal’s small Italy district is filled with restaurants, coffee and many typically Italian store.
Formerly part of the Saint-Louis Mile-End, the arrived massive one of Italian emigrants who came to work in the factories of the Canadian Pacific. They gave an other color to the northern part of this city. Quickly they built their churches and their institutions such as the sumptuous church Notre-Dame de la Difesa.
Now this district belongs to Rosemont Petite-Patrie
