At the beginning of XX century, this district was the richest in the whole Canada with famous Owner such as Rich self made Man from Scotland or senator and politicians.
Hard to believe because now this district is in Montreal downtown but this was the greenest places of the whole city with big trees and large boulevard.
Now most of remaining houses of this period where gifted to McGill College or occupied by chic boutiques.

This old house home now the Post-Graduate Students' Society. The building was purchased in 1968 by McGill University.

This house was uses as the Cuban embassy. The building was latter transformed into luxury condo apartments.
