Several master peace of Montreal architecture did not survive through time. Because of fires or because they were simply left behind to be destroyed. Many also became useless and finally, several one did not survived the growing needs for new habitation.
This hotel had a very interesting observatory on the top floor (Magnetic Terrace), in its restaurant terrace. It is also linked with Thursday's Bar, one of the Cresent Street bigest bar.
