The Convent of the Sacred Heart was founded in 1860 by the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. They directed the institution until 1982. This building is the sixth held by the institution. Before this site, the school occupied a building then on the Saint-Alexandre Street.
Sacred Heart is a private English school.
