The Royal Montreal is the former Matrix (after a change of ownership). This is Montreal's basketball team, which plays in the American Basketball Association (ABA). Their home games take places at the center-Pierre Charbonneau. The club was founded in 2005. The ABA is a league of basketball teams counting Canadian, U.S. and Bahamas. The Royal Hotel is in the Conference Blue Division in the Northeast. This league has more than 60 teams.
