| Francois Larocque Alfred Chartier, better known under the name of Alfred Larocque was the second and 5th President of the
Savings Bank of the city district of Montreal, Bank he helped found.
He held many other functions such as school commissioner and treasurer of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
Very religious man, he received the decoration of the Order of Pius IX in 1870. |
