Teavil Appleton

Teavil Appleton est né le 14 Décembre 1787 à Millington, East Yorkshire en Angleterre, fils de James Appleton et Ann Cumberland. Teavill émigre de l'East Yorkshire, en Angleterre à Montréal en 1818. Il habitait à Montréal et il possédait des biens sur la rue Saint-Denis, près de Dorchester. Il a travaillé toute sa vie à faire des plans à Montréal. D’autres membres de la famille Appleton ont également été constructeurs dans l’East Yorkshire. Teavill construit un certain nombre de bâtiments à Montréal. Il s'est marié trois fois et a eu au moins trois enfants. Il est décédé le 24 Octobre 1865 à Montréal et est enterré au cimetière Mont-Royal.
