This street was named in memory of Denis Viger, husband of the woman who sold the land for opening this road. Now the Saint-Denis Street is a commercial street with stores restaurents and bars spread over several kilometers. The Saint-Denis Street is caracterized by its large three-story buildings with a very regular architecture. This street is at the heart of the Quartier Latin and is one of the main alley of the Plateau Mont-Royal.

is an exceptional place to simply walk and stroll through a beautiful sunny afternoon. The many restaurants and cafes are also a must for night life in Montreal. Further north in the Villeray district, the shops are scarce to make room for beautiful triplex residential and professional offices.

It is the St. Lawrence River to the prairie.
